What is balanced diet?
The term Balanced diet includes the reasonable quantity of all the indispensable nutrients essential for development and growth of human body.  There is no predetermined quantity or type of foodstuff which we can label and group as balanced diet, rather the amount and quality of food intake depends upon the gender, life style, body size and structure, rate of metabolism, etc. Therefore we can say that the balanced diet varies from person to person i.e., the diet plan which is balanced for one person may not be balanced for the other.
